How our pricing works
Every treatment is quoted in writing before it starts, itemised with the standard dental item numbers your health fund uses. That means you can check your rebate with your fund before you commit, and it means the number on the quote is the number on the invoice. Where treatment has stages — implants, orthodontics, larger restorative work — payment is staged with it, and we can set out a payment plan at the consultation.
Offers can’t be combined, and they apply to standard treatment as described. If your examination finds something more involved, we’ll explain exactly what’s driving the difference and quote it separately.
Offers — common questions
Is the $199 check-up available to existing patients?
Yes. It’s for new and existing patients alike.
Are X-rays included?
No. They’re taken only when clinically needed and quoted separately.
Do I need to mention the offer when booking?
It helps, but we’ll apply it either way for the check-up, clean and fluoride.
How do I claim the pension discount?
Bring your pension or concession card to the appointment and mention it when booking.
What’s in the $199 check-up, clean and fluoride
The check-up, clean and fluoride is $199 for new and existing patients. It covers the three parts of a routine preventive visit.
- Examination. Your dentist checks your teeth, gums, bite and the soft tissues of your mouth, then tells you what they found.
- Clean. Plaque and tartar are removed from your teeth.
- Fluoride. Applied after the clean, it can help protect tooth enamel.

Who the offer suits
- You’re overdue for a check-up and want to know the price up front.
- You don’t have extras cover, or you’ve used this year’s dental limit.
- You’ve moved to the area and want a regular dentist. See what to expect as a new patient.
How to book it
Book online or call (03) 9885 7588 and ask for the $199 check-up, clean and fluoride. We’re open Monday to Saturday, and same-day appointments are often available.
We are a Bupa Members First Platinum, HCF More for Teeth and nib First Choice preferred provider, and eligible members may pay no gap on check-ups. We accept all health funds, including Medibank, ahm, CBHS and Australian Unity, claimed on the spot with HICAPS.
Conditions, in plain terms
- X-rays are not part of the $199. If your dentist thinks you need them, the reason and the cost are explained before they’re taken. You can say no.
- Any treatment found at the examination is quoted in writing first. Nothing extra is done without your agreement.
- A heavy build-up of tartar, or signs of gum disease, may need more than one visit or a different kind of cleaning. See gum treatment.
Children and the CDBS
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) covers a range of basic dental services for eligible children aged 0 to 17. We bulk bill under the CDBS, so there is no out-of-pocket for eligible children under the CDBS.
The Australian Government sets eligibility. You can check through your Medicare online account, or ask us when you book. Read the CDBS explained and about children’s dentistry.
More questions about our offers
Can I use the $199 offer with my health fund?
Yes. The $199 is our fee. If you have extras cover, we claim through HICAPS and your fund’s benefit comes off that amount. Eligible Bupa, HCF and nib members may pay no gap on check-ups, depending on their cover, waiting periods and limits.
Can my child have the $199 check-up?
Ask us when you book. If your child is eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, we bulk bill under the CDBS instead, with no out-of-pocket for eligible children under the CDBS. We can check eligibility before the appointment.
What happens if I need treatment after the check-up?
Your dentist explains what they found and why treatment is suggested. You get a written quote with item numbers before anything else is done. You can book the treatment then, or take time to check your benefit with your health fund first.
