Meet Dr Jasper Byun (Dentist)
Dr Jasper is a friendly and compassionate dentist dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred dental care. He recognises that dental visits can be daunting and takes pride in creating a welcoming and relaxed environment where patients feel at ease and confident in their treatment.
He consults in English and Korean.
Training and experience
After graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2018 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Science, Dr Jasper has gained extensive experience working in private dental practices throughout Melbourne. He is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Orthodontics.
Areas of interest
Dr Jasper enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in oral surgery, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and periodontal care. He is especially passionate about helping nervous patients overcome their dental anxieties through his gentle approach, attentive listening, and clear communication.
Beyond the chair
As a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), he remains actively engaged in the dental profession and has volunteered at the ADAVB Melbourne Convention. He has also participated in community outreach programs delivering dental services to disadvantaged populations.
Outside of dentistry, Jasper has a passion for travelling and discovering new destinations, with Disneyland holding a special place among his favourite places to visit.
